High Strength Alloy Profile 6061-T6
Extruded from 6061-T6 aluminum with enhanced wall thickness and optimized internal ribbing. Designed for structural frameworks, automated equipment bases, and heavy-load support systems. Precision tolerances meet ASTM B221, with full in-house CNC machining and surface finishing.
Core Advantages
Integrated production chain
Mold design, extrusion, CNC machining (3‑axis & 5‑axis), anodizing, powder coating, and assembly — all in-house across three manufacturing bases. Reduces lead time and ensures full traceability.
High-strength alloy
Controlled Mg (0.8–1.2%) and Si (0.4–0.8%) content delivers consistent mechanical properties. T6 temper provides a balance of strength, formability, and corrosion resistance.
Precision & stability
Straightness ≤ 0.5 mm/m, twist ≤ 0.3 mm/m. Custom lengths with ±0.2 mm cutting tolerance. Suitable for high-precision assembly with mating components.
Surface engineering
Degreased and passivated prior to finishing. Anodic coating up to 25 μm (Class AA25) per MIL-A-8625. Powder coating available in RAL colors with uniform film thickness.

Processing & Assembly Guidelines
- Recommended tapping torque for M8 threads: 18–22 N·m. Use thread-forming screws for blind holes to reduce stress concentration.
- For anodized surfaces, use neutral pH cleaners (6–8). Avoid acidic or alkaline agents that may degrade the coating.
- Welding: use ER4043 or ER5356 filler wire. Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) is required to restore T6 properties.
- Maximum continuous operating temperature: 150 °C. Strength reduction occurs above this threshold.
- Storage: keep profiles dry and covered. Avoid direct contact with dissimilar metals (copper, bare steel) to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Frequently Asked Questions
Under a simply supported span of 2.0 m with uniform load, the 100×100×5 mm profile (section modulus 22.4 cm³) supports approximately 1800 kg at yield strength (276 MPa). For point loads at mid-span, reduce capacity by 50%. Always consult engineering calculations for your specific configuration.
Yes. Huishuo operates 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC machining centers for drilling, tapping, milling, and counterboring. We also offer profile cutting to exact lengths with ±0.2 mm tolerance. Submit 2D/3D drawings for a process review.
Mill finish ships within 7–10 days. Anodizing (clear/black) adds 3–5 days; powder coating (any RAL) adds 5–7 days. All surface treatment lines are in-house, reducing outsourcing delays. Minimum order quantity for custom colors: 500 kg.
Use anti-seize lubricant (nickel‑based or copper‑based) on threads, or specify PTFE‑coated fasteners. For anodized profiles, apply a dry‑film lubricant to mating surfaces to reduce friction and prevent aluminium transfer.
